Larry E. Roy has over 25 years experience in advertising and marketing, cutting his creative teeth at a very early age under the tutelage of his father–a pioneer in syndicated advertising. Roy joined Admark, Inc. while still attending college. This national company developed and marketed multimedia advertising campaigns, providing products and services to more than 10,000 clients across the U.S., primarily in the banking and auto industries. Through his father and other seasoned writers, producers and directors, Roy was immersed in all aspects of advertising, marketing and production–from graphic design and direct mail, to sales training and account service, to commercial writing and filming, music production and animation.

Since founding Point 3 Media in 1998, Roy has seen the company serve as a principal production company to literally hundreds of clients nationwide, and a boutique advertising agency to select clients in and outside Middle Tennessee. He remains heavily involved in both account service and creative direction. An award-winning writer/director/producer, Roy has developed a keen ability to craft provocative, memorable multimedia campaigns, and then skillfully guide them through their launch. A left AND right-brain thinker, he’s also developed a head for marketing, and effectively managing budgets and timelines, which keeps clients coming back, some for more than two decades.

Roy stresses to his staff that that meeting the clients needs and being invested in the clients success is of primary importance. Working with advertisers of all shapes and sizes, Roy has learned how to work within various budget ranges, giving the client the most for their money. When budget is limited, Roy teaches his staff to work within the framework of a simple concept and then execute the production very well – that great writing, lighting and directing will make the product memorable.

As Point 3’s President and Creative Director, Roy enjoys being involved with both clients and projects, creative types and marketing specialists. Having grown up in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and New York, Roy has made his home in Tennessee the past 25 years, and now lives in Franklin.
